These earrings are the result of a partnership with the Wuajá people, also sometimes known as the Xingu indigenous people (name given from the territory where they live).
Wuajá Kenê Earrings

Kenê is a Huni Kuin term given to traditional graphics - called "true drawing" - applied to body painting, weaving, basketry, weaving and ceramics. The making of ceramics, bracelets and handicrafts is generally practiced by the women of the village, independent of the Ethnicity.The “true designs” represent an intrinsic part of the identity of an Ethnicity, a fundamental element in the beauty of its objects and people. The Kenês are present in all artistic manifestations and also in the traditional artifacts of each people. Inscribed in clothing, ceramics, weaving, adornments and body painting, the graphics represent a unique aesthetic and fully connected with the cosmology and history of its people.
